Syslog-ng is a system logging application. It provides logical separation between applications and their log messages, so they can simply “fire and forget” log messages to a centralized process for reporting, analysis, and storage.


Configuration¶. Users can create syslog-ng configuration statements with the syslog_ng.config function. It requires a name and a config parameter.
