i have a 04 yfz 450 quad. the compression ratio like yours is extremely high. ive had my battery go bad and found that another battery other than factory would turn over the engine, but would not start. i paid the 100 dollars for the factory battery and it fired right up. because of the high compression you need a high cranking battery.

i have a clutch problem on my 2006 yfz 450 , i just put a new crank in it but everything together runs great, the clutch will not disengage, i have push rod, ball, lifter, pressure plate is seated correctly, i had to pry the shift lever over to get the cable hooked up, i unhooked the cable from the lever and it grabs a little but not .

The clutch is not releasing properly. You need to adjust the clutch . To do this, follow the clutch cable down until you find the clutch cable adjuster. It’s usually covered by a rubber bellows cover to protect it. Slide the cover up or down exposing the adjuster.
2/8/2019 · i have a 06 trx450er and clutch wont fully disengage it goes through the gears fine but when you put it in 1st gear it starts to go it slips but moves with clutch fully realeased it wont go into nuteral when idleing either i thought to adjust clutch but still did it even up to the point of adjusting it so far that it sliped going through gears please help idk what it could be.
